How do I book online?
Click here. With you in mind, we've made booking online simple and seamless. Select the service, date, and time (and artist, if you have a favorite) and simply follow the instructions on the screen. Can't wait to have you in the studio!
Should you need to cancel, we ask that you contact us by 8PM the evening before your appointment. You can cancel your appointment online by logging into your account, by emailing us at [email protected], or by calling us at 212.219.2412. If you don't cancel within that timeframe, you will be charged 50 percent of your appointment. If you do not cancel and do not show up to your appointment, you will be charged the full cost of your service, plus 20 percent gratuity.
For parties of four or more, simply let us know at least 48 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel or change your plans. Groups of four or more who cancel without notice or fail to show will be charged the full price of services originally scheduled, plus 20 percent gratuity.

What kind of manicures does Paintbox offer?
We specialize in nail design, offering both polish and gel. We also offer classic single color manicures with a curated offering of indie and elevated brands.
Can I host an event at Paintbox?
We do host private events at Paintbox. Please email us at [email protected] to speak to an events coordinator regarding in-studio or off-site events.
How do I book a group?
Please fill this out to book manicures for parties or four or more. Let us know the occasion so we can help you celebrate!
What is your pricing policy?
In an effort to provide you with the highest level of service, we've streamlined our nail designs into a seasonal menu, all included within price listed. Please note we only accept credit cards or Paintbox gift cards; cash is accepted for tips only. If you have further questions about pricing, please reach out to us at [email protected].
How long do services take?
Out of courtesy for a busy lifestyle, all of our services are an hour, an hour and a half if you need gel removal. The time needed for reach service is indicated during the booking process.
What if I'm late?
Please arrive on time or five minutes early to check out our nail design lookbook. Should you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we cannot guarantee your appointment. We encourage you to browse our seasonal menu prior to your appointment.
What if I already have gels on my nails?
For clients with existing soft gel manicures, please make sure to book with gel removal. Indicating removal at the time of booking ensures we have enough time to properly take off your gel, so your nails stay healthy and strong.
Do you service or remove acrylic or hard gels?
Unfortunately we aren't able to work with acrylic, hard gel, or sculpting gels. We only remove soft gels.
Do you offer pedicures?
Currently we don't offer pedicures, as we are focusing on best-of-the-best colors and designs for your hands.
Can I bring in my own nail art look?
Our incredibly talented manicurists have personally curated our menu of designs. Our artists will help navigate you through our lookbook to customize a design and pick colors that best suit your style.
Can I bring my dog with me?
We love our clients and their pups, but unfortunately the health department limits us from accommodating them in our studio. We appreciate your understanding.
