Cool Weather Color Stories
Though fall technically begins in September, temperatures in New York don't usually shift until October. While we're still enjoying sunny days, cool mornings and chilly evenings are the new norm and our wardrobes adapt accordingly. So, too, do color choices for our nails. Whether you wear polish or gel, this month is the perfect time to revamp your look in autumnal shades.
We've sorted through hundreds of hues to put together a color story on our current favorites. Earth tones are a timeless October go-to, but this fall we're also loving dusty pastels. These creamy, muted colors are the new neutrals and pair well with just about any clothing or makeup look. Not one for soft colors? You're in luck. Punchy vermillion and brilliant International Klein Blue (of Yves Klein fame) are on the menu, too, and make the perfect counterpoint to the dark colors that dominate wardrobes in colder months.
