In one word, how does a mani make you feel?

When do you notice your nails the most and why?

All of the time. It's important to me that I make sure my hands look polished, as I'm always in meetings with clients. I tend to get a manicure every one to two weeks.

Favorite polish shade?

Essie Sugar Daddy.

Worst beauty mistake?

Once on a trip to Paris, I made the mistake of getting a pedicure at my hotel and was mortified when I got the bill.

What are some of your favorite beauty brands?

I love Tata Harper and Tracie Martyn. Both are natural beauty brands that have incredible products that really work.

How has beauty evolved for you?

I recently switched to using only natural cosmetics, which I thought would be a huge challenge, but it's actually been pretty easy as there are so many incredible brands out there. I feel so much better knowing that I'm more thoughtful when it comes to my skincare and products.

How did you first get into fashion consulting?

I worked for lots of different great stylists like Charlotte Stockdale and then as a buyer at Opening Ceremony. When I left my position as a buyer, it felt really natural to start working directly with brands and retailers–so I launched my own consultancy business.

Who have been some of your clients you've worked with?

Most recently, I'm really proud of the work done with chief creative officer Jonathan Saunders for Diane Von Furstenberg and of a vintage collection launched on Vertiaire Collective with Chloë Sevigny.
